Packaging Consultants Group (PCG) has been supplying medical components and packaging for pharmaceutical and food use for over 20 years. PCG needs 100% assurance that the specifications of materials and products purchased from overseas are met without any deviation. Starting in 2009, PCG has relied on InTouch as its QA partner in China. Through InTouch’s Supplier Evaluation services, PCG is able to confirm that new suppliers, coming through recommendations or on-line sources, are actually who they say they are. InTouch goes on-site on behalf of PCG to ensure that potential manufacturing partners have certified clean rooms, independent quality departments, and management that can be trusted to provide the agreed to materials. InTouch verifies manufactured products meet the established CAD and traces raw material records, first-hand, back to production records (providing full validation for the certificates of compliance that are required for import to the USA).
