InTouch works with Tankz in number of ways to continually assure the highest level of quality possible in their imports. Because the production of industrial equipment can span months, InTouch engages in thorough project management activities, such as using Gant charts to track the progress of each stage of production. From the very earliest stages of each Tankz project, InTouch conducts lab testing and inspections of both materials and documentation to ensure that only the most suitable materials are used in production. As each vessel begins to take shape, 100% inspections of all fittings, cuts, and welds are periodically performed by knowledgeable InTouch auditors. The results are then compared to engineering drawings to ensure conformity.
At the conclusion of production, InTouch coordinates a battery of tests that each vessel must pass before being approved for shipment. These tests include Magnetic Particle Inspection testing to ensure weld integrity and hydrostatic pressure testing to detect even the smallest leaks or deformation. Finally, InTouch travels to the shipping port to monitor the loading of each vessel onto a container ship.
