Electrical components can be a tricky product to manufacture in China. A high-tech product can contain parts supplied and assembled from many different factories and so are more prone to defects than other, relatively simple products. Through inspection and lab testing, InTouch has identified issues ranging from faulty CPUs and motherboards, to speakers and antennae that don’t meet client specifications. We have saved clients hundreds of thousands of dollars by reporting on the quality of their electrical components before the goods are shipped.
Assembling high quality electronic equipment is nearly impossible without implementing a quality control program further up the supply chain. InTouch auditors can identify persistent quality issues and help your supplier to trace them through their manufacturing processes.
Electrical Component Inspections involve a thorough review of the item against design documents, as well as verification of the item’s functions and important information such as input and output voltage.
“We have been particularly pleased with your ability to work directly with our factories in China, putting in place key quality standards and inspection criteria since that first order. Andrew, thanks to you and your team at InTouch for allowing us to focus on what we do best. We’re looking forward to working with you again.”
