The InTouch Technical Department is dedicated to performing empirical product testing and the development of comprehensive quality control checklists. Either before manufacturing a newly designed product, or when stubborn quality issues persist uncorrected by the factory, InTouch recommends thorough product testing. InTouch regularly performs product testing for cookware, medical devices, and consumer electronics in-house.
For products that require testing that cannot be performed in-house, InTouch coordinates with highly respected 3rd party testing laboratories. Such coordination can prove to be a huge value adding service, especially in cases where multiple labs must be contracted to perform different tests on a product.
QC Checklists are often the core of any effective quality control program. The checklist is important in two distinct ways:
First, the checklist is of course used by InTouch auditors to thoroughly check every aspect of a client’s products during inspection services.
Second, the checklist also acts as a central resource that documents the specific quality standards that the client expects, and the factory will be evaluated on. This ensures that all parties are aware of, and have acknowledged the product specifications and requirements.
You guys are quite efficient in making sure that you are in constant communication with our vendors to set up a time and day to have inspections handled... InTouch definitely pushed to make sure that inspections would be done in a timely manner. Any corrective actions that had to take place were executed well before the exit factory date.
