The American Society of Mechanical Engineers developed the B30.5 which applies to the design, manufacturing procedures, and quality control inspection tests for floating cranes.
ASME B30.8
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers developed the B30.8 which applies to the design, manufacturing procedures, and quality control inspection tests for floating cranes. This standard only applies to floating cranes used for lifting and lowering of loads in a vertical manner.
GOST 5534:1979
The gosudarstvennyy standart Rossii which in english means State Standard of Russia developed the GOST 5534:1979 which describes specifications for floating cranes.
BS EN 13852-2
The British Standards Institutions describes the safety requirements for floating cranes in 13852-2. The standard also includes safety requirements for their supporting pedestals or structures.
BS 1757
The British Standards Institution developed the BS 1757 which describes the classification, design, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic requirements and details of testing for floating cranes.
ISO 7296-2
The International Organization for Standardization developed the ISO 7296-2 which describes the required symbols for use on operator controls and various other displays on floating cranes.
ISO 8686-2
The International Organization for Standardization developed the ISO 8686-2 which descries the design specifications for the loads and load combinations for floating cranes.
