API SPEC 6D
The American Petroleum Institute developed the API SPEC 6D which describes the specifications for the valve design, manufacturing procedures, and quality control inspection tests.
API 598
The American Petroleum Institute developed the API 598 which covers the pressure test specifications for resilient-seated and metal-to-metal seated gate, ball, globe, and butterfly valves.
ANSI - API 607
The American National Standards Institute ANSI / API 607 is used for the testing and performance evaluation of soft-seated quarter-turn valves when exposed to certain fire conditions.
BS 759-1
The British Standards Organization developed the BS 759-1 which contains valve specifications for application on boiler systems.
DIN 477-1
The German Institute for Standardization developed the DIN 477-1 for gasoline cylinder valves that are rated for pressures up to 300 bar.
